Puentes is excited to announce that Latinx Research Week (LRW) is back this year and better than ever. LRW is a conference that celebrates the scholarship of Latinx students, researchers, and faculty at U-M, and uplifts research relevant to Latinx communities. LRW provides a unique, interdisciplinary space where scholars across campus can share their research and build new connections. From March 13 to March 16, 2023, researchers will showcase their work through oral presentation sessions, a poster session, as well as attend other sponsored events.

Floreciendo Juntos
The theme for Latinx Research Week 2023 is Floreciendo Juntos, meaning Flourishing Together. We chose this theme to highlight how Latinx students, staff, and faculty from around campus are contributing to excellence in research across disciplines. Latinx Research Week is unique in that it brings us together in community despite our disciplinary boundaries. This conference shows that although our areas of study are traditionally siloed, cuando estamos juntos (when we are together) and we utilize our multidisciplinary connections, our impact as a collective whole flourishes on campus and beyond. This year, here at the University of Michigan, we are eager to display how we Latinx Scholars estamos Floreceindo Juntos.
